OnlyFans ha revolucionado la forma de consumir y vender contenido erótico. En este episodio de Equipo de Investigación, Gloria Serra se adentra en los entresijos de la plataforma más polémica del momento: un escaparate que promete independencia financiera y fama a sus creadoras, pero que esconde una industria controlada, muchas veces, por hombres que se lucran con sus cuerpos. Tras la fachada de “contenido exclusivo para adultos”, el programa destapa cómo los límites entre erotismo, prostitución y explotación digital se difuminan peligrosamente.
El reportaje arranca con testimonios de creadoras como Cecilia Sopeña, una exprofesora de matemáticas que dejó su trabajo para dedicarse por completo a OnlyFans, y que hoy gana miles de euros vendiendo contenido explícito. Sin embargo, su historia no es una excepción aislada ni un cuento de éxito sin costes. Las imágenes filtradas, el acoso, la pérdida de privacidad y los traumas psicológicos son una parte menos visible del negocio. Además, muchos de los mensajes que reciben los suscriptores no los escriben las propias modelos, sino chatters, hombres anónimos que gestionan los perfiles de manera profesional y masiva.
La investigación también expone el funcionamiento de las agencias de OnlyFans management, gestionadas por jóvenes como Sergio, el autodenominado “Rey de OnlyFans”, que cobra hasta el 50% de los beneficios de sus modelos. Algunas de ellas, con apenas 18 años, se inician en este mundo vendiendo vídeos sexuales bajo su supervisión. El programa cuestiona si se trata de una forma moderna de proxenetismo digital disfrazada de marketing, y alerta sobre el papel cada vez más normalizado que esta industria tiene entre los más jóvenes.
Desde las estrategias de captación en redes sociales, la opacidad legal de la plataforma, el rastro imborrable de las imágenes filtradas, hasta los cursos online que prometen “hacerse rico sin mostrar la cara”, Equipo de Investigación retrata un negocio multimillonario que banaliza los riesgos de la exposición sexual en internet y que ha hecho millonario a su dueño: un empresario ucraniano que se mantiene en el anonimato.
