Todos tenemos un amigo antivacunas. Ese con el que preferimos no discutir, para no escuchar sus teorías conspirativas. No son nuevas, tienen más de 200 años, casi desde que Jenner inventase la primera vacuna. Pero con la explosión pandemia del covid 19, y su negativa a vacunarse, de repente nos damos cuenta que nos están poniendo en peligro a todos. Entonces, junto con el Cojo Feliz, nos pusimos como objetivo explicar de dónde vienen, cuáles son sus motivaciones, que intereses económicos y religiosos impulsan a los promotores de esta corriente, y como hacer para que entienda, el resto de la sociedad, que escuchar a quienes niegan la ciencia, solo puede traer más enfermedad.
Fe de erratas: no ha habido casos de polio en EEUU desde 1979, Bobby se refería a casos de sarampión. El CDC anunció en EEUU en el año 2000 que el sarampión había sido erradicado. En 2019 se registraron 1,250 casos de sarampión.
