Antes de comenzar, queremos pedirles una disculpa por las interferencias que se presentan al inicio y en algunas partes del episodio. Tuvimos problemas técnicos con el audio y, durante más de dos semanas, intentamos recuperarlo de todas las maneras posibles: usamos distintas herramientas y todo lo que estuvo en nuestras manos. Incluso tuvimos que recortar algunas partes que ya no pudieron rescatarse. Nos da mucha pena compartirlo así, pero esperamos que puedan disfrutarlo tanto como nosotros disfrutamos grabarlo. ❤️
Para este episodio llegamos al final del Hà Giang Loop, una ruta de cientos de kilómetros que recorre algunas de las montañas, valles y paisajes más impresionantes del norte de Vietnam. Grabamos desde Đồng Văn, una pequeña ciudad rodeada por formaciones montañosas, campos de arroz y carreteras que hicieron de esta experiencia una de las más especiales de todo nuestro viaje por Asia.
Después de convivir durante varios días, conectamos con nuestros queridísimos amigos españoles Marc Freix, Javi Dijkstra y Pol Sosa: compañeros de viaje que terminaron convirtiéndose en amistades que recordaremos siempre y que esperamos volver a ver muy pronto. Ya hasta prometimos hacer un viaje anual juntos jajaja.
También nos acompañó Marcelo, quien ha sido invitado en varias ocasiones y, una vez más, llegó para ponerle todavía más caos a este podcast del TDAH.
Platicamos sobre cómo se conocieron los papás de algunos de nuestros invitados, la forma en la que funcionan los campos de arroz, la cultura de las motos en Vietnam, donde parece que hasta los infantes manejan y las costumbres de los vietnamitas al momento de tomar.
Comparamos cómo se vivió la pandemia en México y España, las diferencias de trabajar en México, España y Asia, y el verdadero significado de la siesta española. También hablamos de confundir nuestros nombres, historias de casi ser deportados, estafas en lugares turísticos, nuestros intentos fallidos por regatear y una que otra anécdota entre Gael y Marcelo.
Nuestros amigos españoles terminaron conquistándonos una vez más… y no solamente como en 1492.
Gracias a Marc, Javi y Pol por su disposición para grabar, por compartir sus historias y, sobre todo, por todas las risas y memorias que construimos juntos durante estos días en Vietnam. Esperamos que esta amistad sea apenas el comienzo de muchas más aventuras.
De nuevo, les pedimos una enorme disculpa por los problemas de audio. Fue una situación fuera de nuestro alcance y se hizo todo lo posible por recuperar el material. A pesar de las fallas, decidimos compartirlo por todo lo que representa para nosotros: las personas, los paisajes y los recuerdos de una experiencia que no queríamos dejar guardada.
