En este episodio nos escapamos a uno de los rincones más mágicos y escondidos de Nuevo León: Los Pozos del Chipitín, en la zona de Las Adjuntas, muy cerca de la famosísima Cascada del Chipitín. Este es un lugar donde el agua parece irreal, rodeado de montañas, bosque y paredes de roca que hacen sentir que estás lejísimos de la ciudad, aunque sigas en Santiago, Nuevo León.
Aquí no hay ruido, señal ni prisa. Solo el sonido del río, agua cristalina color turquesa corriendo entre las piedras y una vibra de tranquilidad que pocas veces encuentras. Es de esos lugares que no solo se visitan, se sienten. Pero este episodio tiene algo aún más especial.
En Abril 9 de 2026, hace 1 mes, falleció el papá de Mau, el Sr. Mauricio Fernández Vidal. Y aunque muchas personas no lo saben, fue él quien nos dio la idea de ponerle al Podcast “Ideas de Altura”.
Desde el inicio creyó en este proyecto, en nuestras ideas y en esta locura de salir a explorar, grabar y contar historias desde lugares increíbles. Era y seguirá siendo el fan #1 de Ideas de Altura. A todo mundo le platicaba de la tan bonita amistad que tenemos Gael y yo, y del proyecto tan innovador y disruptivo que tenemos. Me lo comentó muchas veces: “nunca te había visto así de feliz mijito”.
Por eso, este episodio está dedicado a él. Y de muchas maneras, grabarlo aquí se sintió correcto. Entre montañas, naturaleza, agua corriendo y silencio natural. En un lugar que te obliga a detenerte un momento, respirar profundo y valorar lo realmente importante.
Este episodio se siente diferente. Más emocional. Más humano. Más conectado. Una conversación sobre la vida, sobre los caminos inesperados y sobre cómo las personas que más amamos siguen presentes aunque físicamente ya no estén aquí con nosotros.
Más que un episodio, este se siente como un homenaje.Te amo papá. Te extraño muchísimo. Nunca te voy a olvidar y seguiré llevandoté conmigo a todas las cumbres, viajes y a cada rincón de México y el mundo.
Gracias por tanto, no es un despido, es un hasta pronto. Le agradezco a la vida por haberte puesto como mi padre en esta vida y espero que vuelvas a ser tu en la próxima. Gracias por ser un papá tan lindo, tan entregado y tan correcto. Un gran ser humano. Un hombre ejemplar. Soy quien soy por todo lo que me enseñaste. Te amo. Tu hijo, Mauricio. Un honor portar tu nombre y ponerlo en alto.
