Nos vamos de viaje a uno de los archipiélagos más hermosos y misteriosos del planeta. Son 7 islas a cuál más diferente y fascinante. Y lo haremos de la mano de cuatro grandes especialistas:
José Gregorio González que nos hablará del alma de Tacande (La Palma), del árbol sagrado Garoé (El Hierro) y de las aventuras del cosario Amaro Pargo (Tenerife).
Fernando Hernández nos dirá qué son las guácaras, el baile del gorgojo o la extraña habilidad de los animeros.
Luis Javier Velasco sobre dos asuntos que ha investigado personalmente: la Luz de Mafasca (Fuerteventura) y los Tibicenas, unos perros negros que se dejan ver por varias islas.
Carlos Jesús P. Simancas lo sabe todo del ataque inglés del almirante Charles Windham a La Gomera y de una extraña maldición contra ellos escrita en la iglesia de San Sebastián.
Pero hay mucho más. Guillermo Díaz abordará el ataque de Nelson a Santa Cruz de Tenerife en 1797, donde perdió más que un brazo, gracias a la heroicidad del general Gutiérrez. David Sentinella nos contará en qué consistía el mirlado, el proceso de embalsamar guanche. Juan Ignacio Cuesta nos subirá a las montañas de Gran Canaria como el Roque Bentayga, el Nublo o la Cruz de Tejeda, y contará historias de la Virgen del Pino de Teror. Marcos Carrasco nos recordará la figura del gran artista César Manrique y cómo modeló con su arte Lanzarote. Jesús Callejo, aparte de relatar la simbólica leyenda del diablo de Timanfaña, terminará con un pequeño cuento sobre el valor del tiempo.
