Hay islas que parece que juegan al ratón y al gato con los marineros. Islas que se registran en los mapas cartográficos durante un período más o menos largo hasta que finalmente se confirma su inexistencia. En ocasiones las llaman “islas fantasmas”, al igual que ocurre con barcos y buques cuya tripulación desaparece o se esfuma sin dejar rastro, lo que genera todo tipo de especulaciones. Para profundizar de estos apasionantes temas contamos con el escritor y buzo, autor de “Enigmas y misterios de la mar”, quien nos hablará del Caleuche, del misterio del bergantín Mary Celeste, del carguero Ourang Medan o de las peripecias del navío San Telmo en la Antártida. En el apartado de islas, no podían faltar San Borondón, la octava o novena isla de Las Canarias, la isla Sandy o las Auroras., por su parte, nos hablará de las islas de piedra pómez en el océano Pacífico y hará referencia al islote Podestá y a Ferdinandea, una isla volcánica sumergida en el Mediterráneo.
