Hoy valoramos la única excepción a no trabajar nunca gratis: Hacerlo de forma puntual y estratégica cuando empezamos, para crear un portfolio.

Y ahora sí, hablemos de trabajar gratis, o trabajar sin cobrar. Evidentemente, no como norma, sino como excepción. Como autónomo (o incluso pequeña empresa), contar con un porfolio de clientes para mostrar los trabajos realizados es muy importante tanto para establecer una buena reputación como para captar nuevos clientes.
Un portfolio sólido no solo te brinda credibilidad, sino que también genera confianza en tus potenciales clientes (ojo, y en nosotros mismos si tenemos síndrome del impostor) lo que puede resultar en oportunidades de negocio a largo plazo. Es una muestra tangible de nuestra trayectoria profesional.

Y evidentemente, un portfolio sólido también nos brinda la oportunidad de obtener referencias, testimonios, o casos de éxito, algo que transmite confianza en nuestra web para los clientes potenciales.
Eso sí, como hemos comentado en el episodio, es importante siempre hacerlo de manera estratégica, establecer límites claros limitando objetivos, seleccionando bien los proyectos, y comunicando el valor que estamos aportando en cada caso. Un trabajo gratuito no tiene "valor cero", sino un "valor alto" a coste cero. Y eso debemos asegurarnos hacer que quede claro tanto para nosotros, como para nuestros clientes. :)
