Kylie is joined by Mikaela Shiffrin, Johnny Weir, and Tara Lipinski for another Winter Olympics Extravaganza! Kylie’s thrilled to sit down with the American G.O.A.T of skiing, broadcasting legends, and sneaky Faithfuls on the Traitors.
Kylie starts this episode with her favorite Real One Comment of the Week, who caught her turned around at the Team USA Women’s Hockey Gold Medal Match. (3:12) And breaks down how her superstitions *actually* helped give the team momentum to win in overtime.
Then, Kylie reveals in places Kylie Has *No* Business Being, she watched the Women’s Figure Skating Short Program with Nathan Chen, and Speed Skating with Apolo Ohno. (6:13) And she emphasizes, if you are trying to learn the mechanics of a new sport, it’s best to learn from the greats.
In Doomscroll of the Week, Kylie reacts to Eileen Gu’s amazing comeback after a reporter insults her for “only” winning silver, and translates Gu’s polite result to what she couldn’t say: FAFO! (7:41) Plus, Kylie takes a look at how you actually get to the top of the Big Ski Jump, and by you, she definitely does NOT mean her. (10:11) Then Jason and Kylie figure out which winter sport they predict each one of their girls would play!
After that, Kylie sits down with 3x Gold Medal skier, right off of her record-breaking win, Mikaela Shiffrin! (14:15) Mikaela and Kylie talk about cursing on LIVE television (16:16), her remarkable gold medal Slalom run (19:46), and celebrating with espresso martinis.
