La guerra contra Moab y el milagro de Eliseo: En la lectura de 2 Reyes 3, los reyes de Israel, Judá y Edom se alían para combatir a Moab. Cuando el ejército se queda sin agua en el desierto, el profeta Eliseo interviene milagrosamente creando corrientes de agua que los moabitas confunden con sangre, lo que los lleva a una emboscada y a su posterior derrota.
El reinado de Uzías y el castigo por su soberbia: Según 2 Crónicas 26, Uzías fue un rey de Judá que gobernó durante 52 años con gran éxito militar y prosperidad mientras fue fiel a Dios. Sin embargo, al volverse poderoso y orgulloso, intentó quemar incienso en el templo usurpando el deber de los sacerdotes, lo que provocó que Dios lo castigara con lepra por el resto de su vida.
La obediencia y el éxito del rey Jotam: El episodio repasa 2 Crónicas 27, donde Jotam, hijo de Uzías, asume el trono. A diferencia de su padre, respetó el recinto sagrado del templo y se mantuvo fiel al Señor, lo que le permitió fortalecer su reino y someter a los amonitas, obligándolos a pagar un gran tributo.
