La voz entusiasta de Odile describe con admiración la vida y el pensamiento de su padre, Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente: "Es increíble pensar que fue capaz de tener pendiente a todo un país de las andanzas de un lirón careto", explica. Odile Rodríguez de la Fuente es la hija pequeña de "Félix", ese "Félix" que presentaba y dirigía el programa 'El hombre y la Tierra', y que se convirtió en patrimonio nacional para todos los españoles, marcando a generaciones enteras con su mensaje humanista y de respeto por la naturaleza.
Ella confiesa ser "su fan nº1" y asegura que el mensaje de su padre está más vivo y vigente que nunca: "En estos tiempos de incertidumbre, la manera en que él entendía su relación con la naturaleza puede ayudarnos a mejorar mucho como sociedad", afirma.
Odile Rodríguez de la Fuente ha dedicado gran parte de su vida a recopilar, divulgar y poner en valor la figura de ese hombre extraordinario que fue su padre. Presidió durante 11 años la Fundación Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente, difundiendo su legado naturalista, humanista y ecologista. "Mi padre convirtió a la naturaleza, y su conservación, en un fenómeno de masas. Eso es extraordinario", añade. Como bióloga, divulgadora científica y experta en cambio climático, Odile explica las principales amenazas actuales para el medio ambiente y también algunas estrategias innovadoras para mejorar la relación del ser humano con el entorno. En 2020 publicó el libro 'Félix. Un hombre en la tierra', de la editorial GeoPlaneta.
