En este episodio conversamos con Ceci de la Cueva, actriz, cantante y bailarina mexicana reconocida por su trayectoria en el teatro musical. Ceci nos acompaña para compartir el camino que la llevó a encontrar su verdadera pasión y cómo, detrás del brillo del escenario, existe una historia de resiliencia, transformación y propósito.
Aunque creció en una familia amorosa, su infancia estuvo marcada por dos situaciones que definieron profundamente su carácter: el nacimiento de su hermano con un alto nivel de autismo, lo que cambió por completo la dinámica familiar, y el haber vivido bullying durante la primaria, incluso por parte de algunos profesores. Fueron años difíciles que, poco a poco, la obligaron a encontrar fortaleza dentro de sí misma.
Tras cambiarla de escuela, Ceci descubrió el mundo del teatro musical, un espacio donde por primera vez se sintió vista, comprendida y libre. Ahí comenzó a transformarse su sueño: dejó atrás la idea de ser doctora y decidió adentrarse en ese universo mágico. Empezó desde la escenografía, estudiando diseño en Bellas Artes con la intención de dedicarse detrás del escenario, pero el destino tenía otros planes.
Un día, mientras ayudaba en escenografía, alguien la escuchó cantar… y la invitaron a participar en la obra del momento. Lo que parecía una coincidencia comenzó a repetirse hasta que logró interpretar uno de los papeles más anhelados de su vida: Glinda en Wicked, un personaje con el que se identifica profundamente tanto dentro como fuera del escenario. Ceci describe este papel como uno de los momentos más significativos de su carrera, pero también como una lección sobre el desapego y la identidad.
A lo largo del episodio, nos comparte su visión espiritual de la vida, la importancia de confiar en los procesos, sanar heridas del pasado y tomar cada oportunidad con valentía. Esta conversación nos recuerda que incluso las experiencias más dolorosas pueden convertirse en el impulso hacia nuestro propósito.
