Empezamos nuestra decimotercera temporada de La Escóbula, desafiando a la suerte, con un programa dedicado al número 13 desde todos sus aspectos (mitológicos, históricos y religiosos), empezando, como hará Jorge Guerra, por sus interpretaciones supersticiosas asociando el martes y el viernes al 13 que en algunos países lo consideran días de mala suerte y también del “Club de los 13” que creó William Fowler. Carlos Canales nos hablará de los 13 de la fama o “los trece caballeros de la isla del Gallo” cuando Pizarro trazó una línea en el suelo con su espada. David Sentinella nos hablará de la relación de ese guarismo con la masonería, con los 13 estados iniciales de EEUU y con el simbolismo del billete de dólar. Juan Ignacio Cuesta hará una semblanza de Jimi Hendrix y sus innovaciones musicales con la guitarra consiguiendo notas imposibles. Marcos Carrasco tratará de la fobia del pintor Mark Rothko y su triste final, al igual que de la triscaidecafobia que padeció el compositor austriaco Arnold Schoenberg creador de la técnica del dodecafonismo. Jesús Callejo nos dirá todo lo bueno en cuanto a progreso que nos trajo el agitado siglo XIII, a pesar de las hordas de Gengis Kan. Y Fran Izuzquiza se atreverá con “Number 13”, la película de Alfred Hitchcock que nunca existió salvo un fotograma. Terminaremos diciendo la diferencia entre tener suerte y tener buena suerte, aportando una serie de reglas para conseguirla.
