Escobulandia se desplaza a la maravillosa Sala María Cristina del antiguo Conservatorio (Fundación Unicaja), en Málaga, para inmiscuirse a fondo en la historia de esta ciudad y su provincia. Y lo haremos a través de personajes egregios que dejaron su huella.
Carlos Canales nos dirá quién fue Francisco Ramírez de Madrid, apodado El Artillero, que participó en la toma de Málaga de 1487.
Guillermo Díaz hará una exposición amena y detallada del militar Bernardo de Gálvez (que nació en Macharaviaya) y sus Dragones de Cuera, así como del general Torrijos y su intento de pronunciamiento en 1831.
David Sentinella sobre el presidente del Consejo de Ministros Antonio Cánovas del Castillo, fundador del Partido Conservador, principal valedor de Alfonso XII y artífice del sistema político de la Restauración.
Juan Ignacio Cuesta hablará de Blas Infante, el padre de la patria andaluza, y también del escritor y músico del Siglo de Oro Vicente Espinel, interpretando a la guitarra una de sus “espinelas”.
Marcos Carrasco analizará el cuadro de José Moreno Carbonero “La entrada de Roger de Flor en Constantinopla” y el lienzo de Antonio Gisbert “El fusilamiento de Torrijos y sus compañeros en las playas de Málaga”.
Y Jesús Callejo nos llevará al siglo XIX y principios del XX, cuando escritores y viajeros británicos (Richard Ford y lady Tenison), checos (Rilke) o daneses (Andersen) visitaron Málaga o Ronda y dejaron testimonio en sus libros de viajes. Todo ello con la impecable presentación de Fran Izuzquiza y con el maestro del sonido Alberto Espinosa. Historias muy boqueronas y “to perita”.
