Hoy vemos el caso de Antonio, que monta una tienda de videojuegos vintage por amor al arte, con el objetivo que sea autosostenible.

- Antonio, 45 años
- Casado, 3 hijos. Trabaja como autónomo haciendo páginas web desde casa.
- Su mujer es funcionaria desde hace 20 años
- Apasionado de los videojuegos retro y coleccionista desde hace años.
- Tiene experiencia en ventas minoristas, pero ninguna en el mundo online.
- Abre una tienda física en una zona popular de la ciudad dedicada a videojuegos vintage y consolas antiguas
- Inicialmente, la tienda genera mucho interés; los nostálgicos y coleccionistas lo visitan con frecuencia.
- Ofrece un lugar para que la gente juegue a los videojuegos en consolas antiguas, lo que crea una comunidad en torno a la tienda.
- Los costos fijos de alquiler y suministros empiezan a sumar.
- Intenta vender en mercados online como eBay, pero hay mucha competencia.
- La gente disfruta mucho del ambiente de la tienda, pero las ventas no son tan fuertes como había esperado.
- Considera la posibilidad de vender mercancía relacionada (como camisetas y figuras), pero no está seguro de si esto alejará a los coleccionistas serios.
- Piensa en hacer eventos especiales o torneos, pero teme que esto solo incremente los costos sin un retorno garantizado.
- Situación económica:
- Está facturando un promedio de 2.000 euros mensuales
- Su mujer tiene un sueldo de 1.060 euros.
- Su casa es de propiedad y está pagada (no hay hipoteca)
- Su objetivo a corto plazo es el de generar unos 2.000 euros extra con este negocio para poner a alguien al cargo, y a partir de ese punto, crecer todo lo posible.
Aquí ya tenemos que plantearnos cómo podría Antonio mantener su tienda de videojuegos vintage a flote y tal vez incluso expandirla, sin sacrificar la esencia de lo que la hace especial. En este caso es importante tener en cuenta que el objetivo de Antonio es que la tienda sea autosuficiente, y que genere algún extra a sus ingresos de desarrollo web.
