2998. Cocreando webs con Ángel Cabaleiro

Hoy viene Ángel Cabaleiro a contar el negocio de cocreación web que ha montado, en el que monta la web en directo con el cliente a través de videollamada.

Ahora sí, vamos al lío. En el episodio de hoy doy paso a una charla con Ángel Caballeiro, alguien a quien conocéis bien porque durante años fue técnico en Boluda.com y que ahora ha dado el salto por su cuenta. Lo traigo al podcast porque ha montado un servicio que conecta directamente con una idea de negocio que ya comenté en el episodio 1397. Idea de negocio: Webs a domicilio. Solo que en este caso la ha llevado un paso más allá y la ha adaptado perfectamente a la era digital.
Ángel se ha especializado en lo que él llama cocreación web. El concepto es muy sencillo, pero a la vez muy potente: hacer la web del cliente mientras este está presente, viendo todo el proceso, aprendiendo y tomando decisiones en tiempo real. Nada de encargos opacos ni de intercambios infinitos de correos. Aquí se trabaja juntos, en videollamada, compartiendo pantalla, contratando el dominio, el hosting, instalando plugins y maquetando la web paso a paso.
Lo interesante de este enfoque es que el cliente no solo acaba con la web hecha, sino también con el conocimiento de cómo se ha hecho. Ve cómo se toman las decisiones, entiende por qué se elige un plugin u otro, cómo se ajustan estilos, colores o tipografías, y puede corregir o redefinir cosas en el mismo momento. Eso evita rehacer trabajo y, sobre todo, elimina esa sensación tan habitual de "no era exactamente lo que tenía en la cabeza".
Ángel explica que este servicio nació de detectar una necesidad muy clara en las consultorías: muchas personas no querían solo consejos, querían que alguien hiciera mientras ellos miraban. Y esa necesidad se repetía. A partir de ahí lo convirtió en un servicio estructurado, basado en sesiones uno a uno, donde él trabaja y el cliente aprende, pregunta y decide.
Una parte clave del valor que aporta es la experiencia acumulada. Después de más de una década trabajando con WordPress, años en soporte técnico y muchos proyectos a sus espaldas, Ángel va a tiro fijo. Sabe qué hosting recomendar, qué plugins funcionan de verdad y cuáles son pura morralla, qué combinaciones son compatibles y cuáles van a dar problemas. Esa curación ahorra una cantidad enorme de tiempo, frustración y errores.
Hablamos también de tiempos y precios, porque es una de las grandes dudas habituales. Una web estándar puede estar lista en unas ocho horas, mientras que proyectos más complejos, como academias online, pueden irse a veinte horas o más. La diferencia frente a otros servicios es que aquí el cliente ve exactamente en qué se invierte cada minuto. No hay fe ciega: las horas son productivas, visibles y aprovechadas al máximo.
Ángel ofrece packs de horas, y deja claro algo importante: comparar el precio por hora sin tener en cuenta la eficiencia es un error. Alguien con experiencia puede resolver en una hora lo que otra persona tardaría diez, y eso, al final, es más barato y mucho más efectivo. Además, muchas sesiones sirven para desbloquear problemas concretos que llevaban semanas atascando a la gente.
Otro punto que me parece brillante es que todas las sesiones se graban. Se hacen por Zoom, se suben en oculto a YouTube y el cliente puede revisarlas cuando quiera. Eso convierte cada sesión en un pequeño curso personalizado, al que se puede volver una y otra vez. Y si después surgen dudas, Ángel también responde por email.
Entramos en detalles más técnicos, hablando de su stack habitual: WordPress, el tema Astra en versión Pro y Kadence Blocks para maquetar. Ángel explica por qué se siente cómodo con esta combinación, por rendimiento, flexibilidad y facilidad de uso, tanto para él como para el cliente. También comentamos compatibilidades con Elementor, WooCommerce o sistemas de academias, y cómo Astra facilita mucho el trabajo sin obligarte a un ecosistema cerrado.
Y es que a veces pagar una herramienta o un servicio profesional no es un gasto, sino una forma de ahorrar tiempo, dolores de cabeza y energía. Y eso, cuando te dedicas a esto, vale oro.
