Hoy vemos cómo crear un segundo cerebro. De dónde surge el concepto del cerebro digital, qué utilidades podemos darle, y qué herramientas podemos usar.

Y ahora sí, vamos al lío. Hoy quiero hablaros del second brain, del segundo cerebro, del cerebro digital… llamadlo como queráis. La idea es muy sencilla: igual que cuando el disco duro del ordenador se queda pequeño compramos uno externo, hacemos exactamente lo mismo, pero con nuestra mente.
Vivimos rodeados de información. Aprendemos cosas constantemente, consumimos contenidos, tenemos ideas, recibimos correos, mensajes, llamadas, newsletters, documentos, fotos… y todo eso no cabe en la cabeza. O, mejor dicho, cabe un rato, pero luego se pierde. Porque no nos acordamos ni de lo que cenamos ayer.
El second brain nace precisamente de esa necesidad de descargar información. No es nada nuevo: siempre hemos tomado apuntes, subrayado libros, escrito diarios o hecho listas. Lo nuevo es ponerle nombre y método. En 2022, Tiago Forte popularizó el concepto con su libro Building a Second Brain, pero en realidad llevamos toda la vida haciendo esto de una forma u otra.
