Descripción del Episodio

Kylie’s back for a brand new episode of Not Gonna Lie presented by Visible and starts things off with an announcement about the Real Ones teacher wishlists (1:30)! She then reacts to some of your top comments about the solo episode last week, mainly that much to her own chagrin… you all LOVED it. Perhaps we’ll just have to do more…?

Kylie also reacts to a few new funny suggestions for what name to call herself once “mom” “mommy” “mama” inevitably get overused again and also explains why she wants to continue to keep her family relationships private (2:25).

Then, after seeing some of the various NFL team spouses’ posts of their kickoff parties this past weekend, Kylie reminisces on her days as an “active” Eagles wife and the events she would put on for the community of women in Philadelphia. Kylie talks about the first ladies’ event she went to when she first started dating Jason and also reveals her own “Welcome to the NFL” moment (7:35).

After that, in Doomscroll of the Week, Kylie explains the difference between “Me Time” and “Nobody Needs Me” Time in her home (11:43). She also found herself on jumping spider TikTok recently which inspires a segment about how dealing with spiders and insects works in the Kelce household (14:16).

Kylie is then joined by Emmy-winning comedian and actress Wanda Sykes (17:40)! Kylie and Wanda immediately hit it off talking about all things Philly, including Wanda’s incredible involvement in getting the new WNBA team to Philly in 2030 (20:50).

Kylie also asks Wanda about how she enjoys doing stand up in Philly, if she runs jokes about her kids by them before performing them and the hilarious impression she does of her wife Alex (24:25).

Then, Kylie asks Wanda about the role fans ask her about the most, which prompts a hilarious story about a pilot’s very funny fan request for Wanda (27:30). Kylie and Wanda also bond over some of the places they’ve had no business being in their lives and the fact that they both do not consider themselves fashionable or Met Gala material (29:05).

Plus, Kylie and Wanda talk some more about parenting twins and what it’s like as a mom when your teenagers are suddenly old enough to drive and telling you how they’re “losing aura” (37:20). The two also discuss their philosophies on kids having cell phones and taking pride in not being a “cool mom” (42:22).

Make sure you tune into More Sh*t Monday on the Not Gonna Lie YouTube channel for more exclusive clips from Kylie’s longer conversation with Wanda Sykes.

The Last 12 Weeks

The Last 12 Weeks

By shows

In 1992, David Wood was convicted of murdering young women and girls and burying them in the desert outside El Paso, earning him the nickname the Desert Killer. More than 30 years later, his lawyers have one last chance to argue his innocence and stop his execution. “The Last 12 Weeks” follows a team of capital defense lawyers as they try to save their client’s life. The series, produced by Serial Productions and The New York Times in collaboration with The Marshall Project, focuses on the high stakes and at times bizarre work involved in trying to halt an execution. With an extraordinary level of access to a capital case in its final stretch, the longtime death penalty reporter Maurice Chammah takes listeners into the room with the lawyers as the clock ticks down. Maurice and Alvin Melathe, a producer, follow members of the defense team as they look for alternate suspects, try to find new evidence to poke holes in the case, and track down hard-to-find witnesses. In the end, will the lawyers’ efforts be enough to persuade a deeply skeptical court system — and stop an execution three decades in the making? “The Last 12 Weeks.” A five-part series … on a deadline.
