El sexto episodio de la temporada entrelaza pasado y presente para dar una sacudida emocional y narrativa. La primera parte nos lleva años atrás, a una escena íntima entre Gastón y su hija Ana, cuando ella aún era una adolescente curiosa. Entre planos, bocetos y sueños, ambos juegan a imaginar cómo sería la colonia marciana: una flor con pétalos habitables, con bolera, cine y hasta un refugio secreto que solo ellos conocen. Es un momento de ternura, pero también de presagio: Ana, fascinada, declara que algún día irá a Marte. Su padre, horrorizado, intenta impedirlo. Ese refugio imaginado acabará teniendo un peso siniestro en la historia.
En el presente, la tensión escala. Almeida, cada vez más debilitado, suelta revelaciones demoledoras: asegura que Ana sobrevivió en la colonia, que conocía el diseño mejor que nadie y que fue ella misma quien le pidió sacrificar a la tripulación. Gastón se derrumba ante la posibilidad de que su hija siga con vida, pero bajo una sombra difícil de comprender. ¿Era supervivencia, delirio o una verdad demasiado incómoda para asumir?
Mientras tanto, las sospechas científicas se abren camino. Nuria teoriza sobre la posibilidad de que la colonia estuviera contaminada por hongos mutados capaces de generar alucinaciones, una hipótesis que explicaría las visiones, las voces y el comportamiento errático de los tripulantes. ¿Qué parte del relato de Almeida corresponde a la realidad y qué parte a una mente alterada por toxinas invisibles? El interrogatorio se interrumpe bruscamente: el médico sufre dos paros cardíacos y muere, dejando más preguntas que respuestas.
Cuando todo parece perdido, aparece Amparo con un último recurso: la grabadora secreta que Almeida escondió. Entre los archivos se revela una voz inesperada, la de Ana Gutiérrez, hija de Gastón. Sus palabras, registradas desde Marte, cambian el rumbo del episodio: “Bitácora de Ana Gutiérrez. Aquí, en el auditorio. Acaba de pasar algo extraordinario…” Lo que parecía ser un testimonio roto por el delirio se convierte en la promesa de una verdad oculta que al fin empieza a salir a la luz.
