Por eso hoy vamos a bailar emocionados en estas singulares justas poéticas de Escobulandia escuchando una selección de los mejores poemas que ha realizado nuestro invitado , doctor en Filolofía Hispánica por la UCM y poeta laureado, que nos dirá el criterio de su encuesta y los rasgos que debe tener un buen poema para serlo. Declamará el 'Cántico espiritual' de San Juan de la Cruz y 'Me basta así', de Ángel González, pasando por los versos de Quevedo, Machado, Neruda, García Lorca y Miguel Hernández. , también poeta y novelista, nos recitará sonetos de Francisco de Aldana y de Góngora, así como poesías de Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz y de Francisco Brines. ha escogido dos poemas satíricos de Jorge Llopis parodiando a Machado y a García Lorca. recomendará la película 'El cartero de Pablo Neruda'. elige 'Coplas a la muerte de su padre' de Jorge Manrique. se inclina por el poema de Luis Eduardo Aute 'La belleza', que también convirtió en canción. leerá 'Vida', un hermoso poema de José Hierro (por cierto, tío de Canales) y cantará una canción inspirada en él. se inclina por 'No te salves', de Mario Benedetti y 'No te rindas', de Guillermo Mayer y escogerá, cono favoritos, un soneto de Lope de Vega, un poema de Blas de Otero y otro de Gloria Fuertes... "Un poema comienza en deleite y termina en sabiduría", decía Robert Frost.
