Martín Giovanni, better known as Ememalafe, grew up in the San Pancho alley in Colonia Paulino Navarro. Among the dirt in his yard and the tin cans his grandfather worked with, he learned that love isn't always spoken in words. But when the economic crisis hit his family, that emotional stability began to crumble.

In middle school, trapped between his parents' expectations and the pressure of the neighborhood, Martín discovered he had a talent he had to hide: he wrote stories, drew, painted in oil with a man he barely knew. Because in his environment, art was for others, not for tough guys. Years later, an attack that nearly cost him his life forced him to ask himself who he really was. The answer changed everything.

This is the story of an artist who had to survive in order to create, and who today uses his music to show the neighborhood that other paths are possible.Retry
